Testament to Mediocrity:People

Deborah is the woman I love. She's pointy and spiky and cute all at once, a pretty amazing combination.
My Dad, Jim Donoghue, is probably the greatest teacher I've ever known. I love him. He rocks. That's about it.
Jeff Vance and Kelley Vance are the token grown ups of the DC madness. Honestly, these are some wonderful people, to whom I owe a great deal of my sanity (such as it is) and without whom I probably would have moved back to Vermont by now.
Chris, voted most likely to die in a fiery car crash, both guns blazing (leading to the steering difficulties that resulted in said fiery crash). He's a goombah and a git, but I have to admit, I like him anyway.
Josh, aside form his mild fixation with angels, is a startlingly cool guy, who grows cooler by the week. More importantly, Josh is one of the most, well for lack of a better word, good people I've ever met. He's very young in some ways, but much less so than you'd think by looking at him. Plus he smokes cloves.
Maya who's real name I know but always misspell, scares me, but in a good way. She slinks, despite what she may tell anyone, and does so with both grace and panache. I also finally got to see her remarkable talents as a GM in "Murder on the Amber Express," on of th emost delightful games I've ever had the opportunity to take a hand in.
Tess is so skilled at a variety of tech stuff that she would be thoroughly intimidating if I had not already come to terms with my relative incompetence in that field. In addition, she is a skilled gm, and makes first rate pasta.
Fluff is a focus of evil in the modern world. She is a computer and gaming guru, and feels what everyone really needs is a small, fuzzy dog. Most importantly though, she's just plain evil!!!
Eric Is still the new guy in town, though it's been over a year now. I guess it reflects the glacial pace of change in the geek community. He smokes, wears dark clothes and shiny bits of metal ans stomps around in big ol' boots, but despite all this, is a helluva guy.
The Conclave is a central list of geeks in the Washington DC area.
Angela is a writer, a poet, a real sweetheart, and also a redhead. Perfect combination, no? Sadly, she is also far, far away, but you, at least, can take a shortcut.
I've only met Charlie twice now, but we hit it off well enough to deeply trouble the people we were with. Charlie is taller, better looking and more heavily armed than I am, and to top it all off has a cool accent. He is far and away the most Alpha male MUSHgeek I have ever met, and has far more guy points than most. Since I put this in, I've seen Charlie again and can only say that yes, he is still quite tall. But I have his neuron.
